My Review:
Absolutely adored this book. I will forever read anything by Lynn Painter. Something about her writing just brings the biggest smile to my face and makes me giggle! I wish I would have had YA romance books such as this one back when I was in high school.
I empathize so much for both Bailey (MFC) and Charlie (MMC). They both are walking through their own emotions are they process what it is like to have divorced parents and my heart breaks for them at many points in the story. While I have never walked through my parents getting a divorce, Lynn did a beautiful job writing about such a hard experience and made these characters emotions/feelings feel so real.
I love the sweet friendship between Bailey and Charlie. As much as they try to not like one another, they literally cannot help but be drawn to one another. The romance was so sweet overall. Lynn Painter knows how to write swoon worthy romance!
Also warning: there is a bit of vulgar language in this one!
