My Review:

Luke and Story grew up in their small town together, as best friends. But when Story leaves to fulfill her big city dreams, Luke is left in the dust. He secretly hopes she'll hate the city and come back home but he would never hold her back like that,

Story has found herself a groom and they come back to the small town to get married. When Stories soon to be husband leaves her at the altar for his ex, she feels 10% sad and 90% relieved. She knew deep down that they weren't right for each other but didn't want to be the one to call things up. Now she has to pick up the pieces of her life and lucky for her, Luke still seems to be around to help.

This book was so good! I loved that it was dual pov so we got a glimpse into both the main characters head. The childhood friends to lovers was AMAZING and I loved the chapters we got of their past together. This book has all the best tropes: childhood friends to lovers, a little bit of fake dating, a little bit of second chance romance, and it’s a closed door romance! Both the characters had so much development and were so real, I could see some of myself in both of them. Would recommend to everyone.
